Riot

One of my favourite bands is Scotland's Jesus and Mary Chain. This link is to a you-tube from a television story on the band and a subsequent riot after a gig in London. The fashions were great. I wish someone had done a DIG style doco on JAMC. They were as far out as Brian Jonestown Massacre. In these days the band were rumoured to have discovered crack. check out a uber cool Bobby Gillespie at the end. You-tube seems to be a great source for finding musical rarities. As an endnote, JAMC played one of the worst gigs I've ever been to... but their albums!

Bahborhee Man

F.S.T. has featured a few posts about strange Korean culture. Kings Cross has a sizeable population of Koreans including my former tobacconist. Lach, a reader of F.S.T. got in touch to let me know about yet another weird Korean quirk. It appears that Flashing (Men wearing raincoats and nothing else, exposing themselves to young women) is a serious problem in Korea. What is hilarious though, is the term Koreans use for these men. Bahborhee Man. Or Burberry Man based on the established British clothier and their famous rain coats.
