Vale Troy

This is the first part of a two part tribute made by Australian director Richard Lowenstein about his longtime friend and collaborator Troy Davies. Troy was a true kings cross character and died last year after an extremely long battle with HIV/AIDS. These films are no picnic but show an artistic community in the early eighties in full flight. Great footage of Michael Hutchence behind the scenes on Lowenstein's film "Dogs in Space". Looks like an insane but creatively dense period. Sad but worth a look...
